I also tried to set up a trigger on ifttt.com, and for good measure, tried to add it via FeedBurner. They both had critical errors that prevented it from working. If you need help fixing this (or if you’re just too busy), then just let me know. I’d be happy to help.

Ha. So now, I’ve got an awesome comic (Fishbones) and an awesome way of reading comics (Tapastic). The former directly led to finding the latter, which in turn led to discovering a bunch of other comics. All good things! But alas, the comic that originally inspired me to find a better way of reading comics is now the only comic I can’t read in the fancypants comic viewer I found. It’s an embarrassment of riches!

Oh, and I looked at Piperka. It doesn’t quite do what I was looking for (push notifications and device-optimized reading), but thanks for the suggestion! And for sharing your work, of course. 🙂

I’m hesitant to start uploading Fishbones on another site since it seems like extra work, and I’m not sure about comic apps specifically, BUT if you need something to keep track of the webcomics you read, I highly recommend Piperka. I never got into webcomics, so when you took your first break with Fishbones, I just sorta stopped reading webcomics altogether. Last night I remembered Fishbones, and ended up reading everything from the very beginning until present. And now, I want to make sure I don’t miss any ever again. I see that there’s an RSS feed, but I wanted to see if there were any apps that were specifically designed for following and reading webcomics. Maximize the experience, ya know? What I found was that most comic apps seem to be designed for the electronic versions of traditional comics and manga. I only found two that subscribe to webcomics: Comet Rocket and Tapastic. The former hasn’t been updated since 2013, but fortunately, Tapastic looks pretty great. They seem respectful of comic creators to the point where I don’t even think I can manually add your comic, but I don’t presume to know anything about the webcomic industry.

So all of that is a longwinded buildup to my request: would you please consider putting your comic on Tapastic? It looks to me like a well-designed app, but I’m all ears if you have a different one to recommend.
