Fishbones is going to be at Otakon in July! We are going to try to put together a mini-comic of the first 30 or so pages to offer there. I’ll be sharing the table with Kasey from Winters in Lavelle. Unfortunately Yuki won’t be able to be at the table since Japan is very far from Baltimore, but please stop by and say hello.

This is such a cute first interaction for them. I never read this version of how they met in the book — the version that I read had them meet forcefully on the stairs outside of the house — but I very much like this version, which seems more original. And I absolute love that Ferris is reading his book upside down when Demos walks in.

I normally read The Origin of the Species upside down. It’s a lot more interesting that way.
