oh my god this page is fucking beautiful. i would take this as a print and mount it on my wall. i loved reading all about demos’ family in the novel, but for the purpose of the comic, this is much more effective. gorgeous and stylish; i can’t stop staring *-*

I love the cracked sky. It’s perfect. Everything is so well communicated here. The open door is a fantastic metaphor also.

Holy crap that’s awesome. This composition needs to be a full fledged poster- maybe with splashes of colour even (so I can hang it on my wall, of course). It’s pretty much perfect in every way for communicating the ideas you want quickly and noiselessly. A thousand words, and all that jazz~

Holy cow, I’m so glad you guys went with pictures here rather than dialogue. I feel like it has so much more impact 🙂 And all of the little pieces work together so well, gaaah! I agree with everyone else; if this were print sized I would slap this right on my wall.
…but is it bad that what I like the most, though, is that Demos is talking with his hands? It’s the little things, I guess.

Demos was actually talking about the day his whole family stole a man’s wallet after he came out of his car and slipped on a bottle of ketchup.
So Im in love with this. Its on a whem that i found you. I had a crazy dream about bonefish last night and I was making sure i just dreamt it and not seen it some where else. Either way cant wait for the next page!

WOW. This page! I will never draw any page that does its job this well. NEVER. The shattered sky, the cash over everything, the confusion of images…it really gets across the cathartic-dumping nature of the conversation, without being emo or cloying. So wonderful!
