Yeah, darn right it’s objectionable that an adult hit them with a car! And all the blood and gunshots on the prior page was probably not just from good ol’ clean gang wars. I’m very happy about that. Too many mobster stories never actually show the mobsters acting badly. Hurray for actually-bad bad people!

As for the bullies, they would have seriously injured the kid they were bullying if not stopped. Three against one? He’s already missed school getting over it.There’s nothing “just” about bullying. In any sense of the word.

Still a totally inappropriate response to them, and a reasonable adult should have worked things out in a different fashion. Shame, then, they ran into only unreasonable adults…
